Ninova Art Studio
Ninova Art was born from a lifelong obsession with the ocean. Maria Ninova grew up collecting shells on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria long before she ever touched a paintbrush. When she moved to Nantucket Island, she understood why — the ocean had been calling her home to itself her entire life.
Her paintings center on the feminine in nature: the spiral of a shell, the female form emerging from water, the light that hits the surface at the end of the day. Every piece is rooted in Nantucket’s coastline and carries a real shell and a real story from this island.

What We Offer

The Artist Association of Nantucket
Maria is a member of the Artist Association of Nantucket. Her work has been shown and sold through the association’s exhibitions and galleries on the island.
